GT5: Winning Gran Turismo World Championship Race
First, you should buy a Dodge Viper which is 500,000 credits but does more than it seems! Tune it to the max and you (with good skill) WILL WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP and get a BUGATTI VEYRON!!
GT5 Helpful Hints #2 (read #1 first)
Beginner Hint #2: Complete as many driving challenges as you can. When you can't, move on to A-Spec (or if you have enough money, buy a better car in used cars, then move on to A-Spec) and try to win as many races as possible. If you have a lot of money by now, buy cars from the Used car dealer. Move through the levels that way.
Intermediate Hint #2: After your Bugatti is tuned, race it in as many races that it goes in. It will really make an improvement on your lap times. It is a very fast car so it might be difficult at first but you will get the hang of it. Now, start Special Events.
Advanced Hint #2: B-Spec is real easy: Just put your dude in a race and he'll race on his own in your fastest car. Also, if you have the money, try to get a GT-F1 (from online dealerships, they always have it). Move through the ranks and TUNE ALL YOUR BEST CARS FOR SPECIFIC RACES!!! Only put your dude in the races that give the most exp. for the least amount of time. Eventually, you'll get to lvl. 35 and if you go to your home pg., you'll just get the BEST X1. Then, win all of the races that your dude can. It'll give you better cars than A-Spec much of the time.

Videos on GT.com
On Gran Turismo.com, there are loads of videos after clicking Gran Turismo TV at the top. Each are very interesting and cool. If you want some other racing videos and head to Youtube. One of vparuthi's favourites are the Top Gear Challenges. They're real cool and can be funny.
Troubles sighing in on Internet Explorer
Many players of GT5 are not able to log in on GT.com (to sign in, pick your country of nationality and cilck the "GT5 My Home" icon. sign n using your PSN username and password) with Internet Explorer. Use another browser or download another.
GT PSP
(DUDE) is my user name for PSN on PSP.
Try saving up money and by a car about 550 hp car. I bought a Ford GT. For a long time I used this car and it has been very helpful in the game. Also, get the expantion pack from PS Store which gives you the best cars like the Bugatti Veyron and a Lamborghini and the GT by Citroen Concept Car.

GT5 Helpful Hints #1
Here are some pointers:
Starting Out Tip #1: For your first car, buy a Toyota Vitz from Dealerships. This will help you in the Vitz race and the Sunday Cup. Immediately, do licence challenges. They can easily give you experience without the fact that the Vitz might not win a race which is very frustrating. DON'T DO B-SPEC! It's a waste of time!
Intermediate Tip #1: When you start winning cars in A-Spec that can be VERY valuable, you should consider tuning your car (especially if you got the Veyron). Tuning can really bost your power but sometimes it's just no worth it because the car isn't that valuable.
Expert Tip #1: Looking to get an X1? Well, there's three ways. a) Reach level 30 and beat the Red Bull X1 Challenge (extremely hard), Get to level 40 and buy it (that might take a while) or get to level 35 B-Spec and earn it. To do B-Spec, if you have AMAZING cars, just put your B-Spec dude in and wait until the race is finished. Build your points this way (IF your A-Spec level is high, level 25)
